May 5th Concert 2026

As a production partner of the National Committee 4 and 5 May and the NOS, we are part of a large team of people and organizations making this special project possible. Military personnel from the 105 Water Engineering Company are working together with various civilian parties to construct the stage and the necessary towers, pontoons, and grandstands on and around the Amstel. That is no easy task, right in the center of Amsterdam, on a busy waterway, and literally under the bedroom windows of many residents.

Every year a different orchestra plays, and every year various artists perform. King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima are always present, as are the guests of the National Committee 4 and 5 May in the stands and the many visitors in the boats and on the quays around the water.

The May 5 concert will be broadcast live by the NOS on NPO1. It is a great joy to work on this.
